Amy began her career as an administrative assistant at an IT recruitment firm, and within one year she was a dedicated IT recruiter. From there, she joined a small real estate development firm where she managed a full-cycle recruitment desk and managed all staffing and HR operations.
Within a few years, Amy built a specialty in financial services recruiting with tenures at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. While with Deutsche Bank, Amy took a leadership position managing a large team and overseeing hiring for the new Jacksonville trading floor.
After three years, Amy was contacted by a former colleague to join the Hudson RPO account of a large investment bank and financial services company. Amy joined the team and built out the organization’s new 115-person Jacksonville office. The project required hands-on recruiting as well as strategic consulting on the local talent market.
When Hudson RPO won a new account with Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM), a chemical company specializing in cellulose-based products, Amy took on the new challenge of being their Account Manager. RYAM is a dynamic account that involves hiring an array of role types in the USA and across Canada, including more remote manufacturing locations in the Canadian forestlands. Amy manages a bilingual team (English/French) located across North America.
“I have a lot of autonomy on my account, which gives me a sense of ownership, but I get a lot more infrastructure support from Hudson RPO than I have with other recruitment organizations.”
In 2018, Amy married a man who lived in another state, and given her virtual role, Amy simply retained her position as account manager for RYAM while working from a new location.
For Amy, working for Hudson RPO is about building strategic partnerships and providing valuable consulting advice to her clients.
